Over the summer, I was at The Lyndale Tap House and during a trip to their bathroom, I stumbled into the photo above. I couldn’t help but be attracted to the gold and black in the graffiti on the toilet paper dispenser, with the text reading: generosity is kind, generosity is spirit. I think I will forever be more inspired by unexpected artistic gems than by something I have prepared to enjoy prior to the encounter.

Thanks to whoever created this graffiti masterpiece, it was the the motivation behind the No. 612.4, No. 612.5,  No. 612.6  & No. 612.8. I am obsessed with the movement of the gold paint splatter against the black, it is what created the concept for these latests pieces in the 612 series.
